PowerPoint Exam

Just wanted to say I will attempt this PowerPoint exam. I would like to have that associate under my name. I know It'll look good for future jobs and such, plus It makes me feel accomplished being the first In my family to be productive In college! I pasted the last two exams so this one should be a breeze. 

LSU Football

I am predicting that LSU football with go all the way this season! They recently beat Alabama this weekend, which wasn't suppose to happen, but that should make them the #1 team in the country right now. I much rather watch college football then the NFL because the games seem way more intense and has tons of energy to it. But again, I just wanted to keep my prediction alive! LSU isnt even my favorite team to I'd love to see them make i to the top! They deserve it due to the fact they had the hardest schedule in the league.

Been Preparing

Everyday I think about where I'm at in life and where I want to be. I literally imagine my self making a big play on TV for a university/NFL team, and visual the reactions of my father, mother, brothers, friends would be. I want to make it a reality. Honestly, I'm not as passionate about balling than most athletes, football isn't something I'd die for. I do it so my family tree from now on has hammocks on it. I am far more passionate to get a reaction out of those who doubted my believes, doubted my goals, inflicted pain in my life, embarrassed me and my loved ones. But like I said before, I'd very much love to see my family's reaction. To see that I finally made it after a long, long journey. I'm used to setbacks, and the best way to handle them is by understanding they are part of life. I won't fold under pressure. My story is not over until I win.

Word Certified

Finally came down to the exam and I actually past it on the first try! Not  going to lie I thought  it was going to be much more difficult but it was pretty straight forward. I appreciate what is done in class to help me pass the test. So thank you again Mr. Wu.

New Background

I got tired of seeing a generic background for my blog page so I had to spice it up. I put the comic book character "Carnage" from spiderman issues in the background, ripping off the symbiote, Venom, of his host. Carnage has been my favorite comic book character ever since I was a kid. I mainly love the appearance of him and the meaning of his name, which made him someone to fear. Sounds geeky but I don't care.

Presentation

I see everyone presenting their hobbies so i feel like i should present one of mine. I train athletes to get bigger and stronger, build their footwork and techniques. I'm sure i know how the responses are going to turn out but Ill still ask; does that sound like an interesting topic ?

Gun Law

Just out of curiosity, do you think that gun laws will actually impact a difference within our community? I understand the thought process of most, "less guns, less problems" which in some cases is true, but not all. I do believe obtaining an assault rifle at all is unnecessary, but the talk of exterminating ALL guns doesn't make sense to me. I, and those who are from communities like mine before, know the issue with that statement. Where i grew up, no one had guns legally. A LOT of have guns illegally. So only thing that a gun law will do is leave those defenseless against those with illegal weapons. My point is you cant stop people from getting guns. Guns will for ever be in our country with a law in place or not. Guns are stolen from stores, shipped from other countries, etc. People are even manufacturing guns with 3D printers at home now so the possibility of have guns is limitless. Something should be changed, but getting rid of rights of protecting yourself isn't a smart move at all.

Road to Glory

For a bit, I've been trying to get the most muscle mass possibly but also able to move fast as possible too. My ideal weight is 240 lbs and I'm actually close to it weighing 237lbs. But gaining 3 pounds of muscle is harder then you think. especially with my metabolism. If I happen to skip a meal one day, the next day I would 2-3 pounds lighter just like that. Wish me luck on this journey!

Wedding At Yosemite

This past weekend I visited Yosemite National park for a wedding and it was much better then i expected. I'm not a man of nature but it was pretty cool seeing more green then usual down here in Vegas. This is one of the most famous spots to hike in Yosemite. 

Week 2

Another week done and also not to difficult for me. Still got to work on getting things done sooner, still got to pay close attention to details. But like always, I'm prepared to be better. the support motivates me to keep moving forward and it should for everyone of us. I hope all is well so far!

First Impression of IS 101

Overall, I believe IS 101 is a well organized class that will benefit me throughout my college years and life in general. I sense a great class in place; It'll be challenging, but I will handle the load because it will help me grow professionally. I appreciate the healthy energy from the instructor and students. I will try my best to fulfill any expectations.  I am excited to see how well I can keep up with the class!
